A Training programme has been conducted for those working in the taxi services.
184 taxi drivers participated in the serial training programme, conducted from August 4 – 8.
During the training programme, experienced traffic police officers instructed the participants on obeying the road and safety regulations and guidelines.
Male’ City’s Head Chief of Police Moosa Ali awarded the participants upon the conclusion of the fourth taxi driver training programme.
At the closing ceremony, Chief Moosa urged the participants to report any criminal activity they see during their work, to help the police maintain a peaceful community.
He also advised them to adhere to the changes to road regulations and improve services to increase public trust in taxi services.
