Two teenagers are being treated at Hulhumalé Hospital, following a violent brawl that took place in Hulhumalé.  

According to the police, the matter was reported to them at around 12:18pm on Wednesday.

Two individuals have been taken into custody over the violence that took place in the capital's suburb. Police have not disclosed any further details.

Media coordinator at Hulhumalé Hospital, Ashiya Solih said that two 17-year-olds- one native to Addu City while the other is from Rathafandhoo island of Gaafu Dhaalu atoll- were brought to the hospital for treatment at around 12:10pm.

Noting that one of the teenagers had sustained injuries, Ashiya said that he is being treated in the emergency room. The other is being treated for minor injuries.
