Two individuals were injured in an accident in Gaafu Alifu Villingiili
Two individuals were injured in an accident in Villingilli island of Gaafu Alifu atoll on Saturday.
A council member told RaajjeMV that the accident occurred at around 11 am, with two motorcycles colliding into each other.
The motorcycles were reportedly damaged beyond repair.
According to the council member, both individuals had sustained serious injuries in the accident, and they were taken to Villingilli Hospital for treatment immediately. He said that tests were being carried out to see if either had sustained any internal injuries.
He further noted that the accident took place at the same area as three previous ones.
