MP Nasheed involved in an accident in Kulhudhuffushi
Accident occurred at around 11 am on Saturday
An individual was taken to hospital after a car collided with a motorcycle, on Saturday morning
Parliamentarian for South-Kulhudhuffushi constituency, Mohamed Nasheed, who is currently in Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi, has been involved in a car accident.
Speaking to RaajjeMV on Saturday, an official from the Kulhudhuffishi Police Station confirmed the accident, but said that the details of the accident has been shared with the police media, adding that the station is unable to provide any further information on the matter.
However, RaajjeMV’s calls were not answered by the police media
Media official at Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital confirmed that an individual who was involved in an accident was being treated there, but did not give out details on the individual.
The official said that they are currently making the necessary preparations to send the accident victim to the capital Male’ City, adding that he had not sustained any life-threatening injuries.
According to RaajjeMV sources, the accident occurred at around 11 am on Saturday, when a car and motorcycle collided into each other near Kulhudhuffushi Hasanaath Mosque.
RaajjeMV understands that the man being treated at Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital is the driver of the motorcycle.
