Two injured in serious road accident in Phase 2

Another serious road accident has occurred in Hulhumalé Phase 2, leaving two people injured.
The police informed the media that the accident was reported to them at approximately 7:44 a.m. on Monday. According to the police, the collision occurred at the four-way intersection of Heenaamaa Hingun and Dunburigas Magu in Hulhumalé Phase II, involving a car and a motorcycle.
Police reported that a 62-year-old Maldivian man operating the motorcycle and a 24-year-old Maldivian male passenger sustained various degrees of injuries in the accident. Both individuals are currently receiving medical treatment at Hulhumalé Hospital.
Police stated that the matter is under further investigation.
Another accident occurred on Saturday near the Vinares flats in Phase II. An 8-year-old child injured in the collision remains on a ventilator at IGMH hospital.
