Fatality reported following collision between motorcycle and lorry

Police have confirmed that the male motorcyclist involved in the accident was already deceased upon arrival at IGM Hospital.

A person has died following a collision between a motorcycle and a lorry in Malé.

In a message to the media, police stated that a report of an accident on Boduthakurufaanu Magu in Malé was received at approximately 15:57 on Sunday.

Police have confirmed that the motorcyclist involved in the accident was pronounced dead on arrival at IGM Hospital. The victim has been identified as a male.

The police are conducting a further investigation into the matter.
