Muizzu’s incompetent administration fails to fulfill legal obligations regarding pension funds: Mauroof
Legal counsel Ahmed Mauroof has expressed grave concern over the dismissal of Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) employees at the Thinadhoo branch who protested the company's failure to deposit pension contributions deducted from their salaries for the past 19 months. Mauroof characterized the disciplinary action as a sign of government incompetence, emphasizing that since pension benefits are a fundamental right guaranteed by the Constitution, employees should not face termination for advocating for their legal entitlements.
