Speaking on RaajjeTV’s "Fala Surukhee" program, Ali Hussain stated that there must be compelling reasons when individuals holding high-ranking state positions, such as the Minister of Defence, are abruptly dismissed from their posts.
However, he described the recent changes to the government's cabinet as a "backpass" during a prime scoring opportunity. He noted that while there were expectations for positive reforms following pledges to downsize the government, the actual outcome has proven to be quite the opposite.
Elaborating on the current state of the administration, Ali Hussain stated that the government's ship is currently sinking and warned that it will soon reach a point of no return where recovery becomes impossible. He noted that this alarming trajectory is exactly what is being witnessed in the country's political landscape today.
Criticizing the current proceedings within the People’s Majlis, Ali Hussain stated that special benefits and privileges granted by the government are being restricted to a specific group of members from the ruling People’s National Congress (PNC). He further noted that it is evident from social media platforms that a select few are leading and exerting disproportionate influence over all parliamentary affairs.
Furthermore, following the recent change to the position of Deputy Speaker, Ali Hussain suggested that a no-confidence motion against the Speaker of the Parliament remains a distinct possibility in the future. He noted that the political landscape remains tense, given the current government policies and the ongoing shifts within the administration of the Parliament.
