Residents of the Amaan Dhoadhi towers in Hulhumalé have expressed concern over not receiving water bills for three months, prompting fears of financial strain when faced with a large cumulative payment. While the Male' Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) stated it is looking into the matter, residents are calling for measures to ease the burden of settling multiple months of arrears at once. In response, the utility company noted that while no official complaint has been formally logged, they remain committed to resolving such issues for their customers.

Residents of several towers in the Amaan Dhoadhi housing project in Hulhumalé have reported that they have not received water bills for more than three months.
Residents of Amaan Dhoadhi Towers 5 and 7 have expressed serious concern to RaajjeMV, stating that they have not received water bills for three months.
Residents noted that they have been lodging complaints with the Male' Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) regarding this issue for several days. According to them, the utility company has repeatedly stated that the matter is under investigation and that the bills are currently being processed. However, they expressed frustration that, despite these assurances, they have yet to receive the bills as of today.
Furthermore, residents stated that the failure to receive bills for three months was due to an issue within MWSC, and noted that paying three months' worth of charges at once would pose a significant financial burden. They asserted that they would be unable to settle the payment in that manner and demanded that the company provide more flexible payment arrangements.
When contacted via the "Fashaairu" program regarding this matter, an MWSC official stated that the company would attend to such issues if they arise. However, the official noted that no such complaint has been formally lodged with the company to date.
