A 17-year-old girl has been injured in a road accident on Boduthakurufaanu Magu in Malé.
Police informed the media that the accident occurred near Villa College on Boduthakurufaanu Magu, following a collision between two motorcycles. According to the police, the incident was reported on Tuesday at approximately 8:15 p.m.
A 17-year-old girl, who was a pillion rider on one of the motorcycles involved in the accident, is currently receiving treatment at IGMH for injuries sustained in the crash. The hospital has confirmed that the teenager did not sustain any serious injuries.
Police stated that both individuals operating the motorcycles involved in the accident were licensed drivers.
Police are conducting a further investigation into the matter.
