If Muizzu truly wishes for well-being and prosperity of the people, best he can do is resign and go home: Falah
Falah criticized the government's leadership, stating that the incompetence of ministers and senior officials has stalled national development projects and caused significant hardship for the public. He argued that the administration’s focus on political gain and the wasteful expenditure of state funds are damaging the nation, suggesting that the President should resign if these issues remain unaddressed. Furthermore, Falah condemned the government's policies, describing the ongoing restructuring of ministries as disorganized and lacking a coherent plan.

Former Member of Parliament for the West Maafannu constituency, Mohamed Falah, has stated that if President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu truly wishes for the well-being of the Maldivian people, the best course of action he could take is to resign and return home.
Speaking on RaajjeTV’s "Fala Surukhee" program, Falah addressed the recent cabinet reshuffle initiated by President Muizzu. He criticized the administration, noting that despite being in power for over two years, it has failed to deliver tangible results. Furthermore, he asserted that both President Muizzu and his cabinet ministers lack the necessary competence to govern effectively.
Falah stated that the country is currently suffering due to a lack of individuals capable of driving development and progress, noting that all ongoing projects have come to a standstill. He remarked that the difficulties citizens are facing today are a direct result of incompetent individuals attempting to provide public services. He further asserted that if President Muizzu truly wishes for the well-being of the people, he should resign and return home.
Highlighting that the current administration offers no benefit to the Maldivian people, Falah stated that the public would only face further setbacks. He noted that while the government could expand the membership of the ruling People's National Congress (PNC) and increase its state funding through job creation and salary disbursements, no actual development projects or initiatives of public benefit would materialize.
The Maldivian people have already spoken and given their direction. There is no need for further debate. The people have clearly called for Muizzu to step down. The greatest service he could provide to the citizens today would be to resign and return home. This administration has no genuine intention or vision to serve the public interest. I doubt he will even remain in the country. Given the current situation, I suspect he will abandon the people and flee before his term even concludes, as that seems to be his mindset. Initially, he spoke of serving two terms, but now even that talk has ceased, and it appears he is preparing to go into hiding.Mohamed Falah, the former Member of Parliament for the Maafannu West constituency.
Falah further stated that if the current administration's officials were competent and capable, projects would be progressing and essential materials, such as armor stones, would be imported. He noted that harbors, roads, and buildings would be under construction, and the government would be releasing the necessary funds to companies to ensure project continuity. Furthermore, he alleged that several projects for which funding had already been secured remain stalled under this administration due to widespread corruption and deceit.
Describing the current administration as a "frivolous and aimless" government, Falah stated that when the Ministry of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage was first established under the guise of developing the national language, the government turned a deaf ear to the public’s concerns that it was an unnecessary institution. He further noted that while the ministry has now been abolished, public funds were wasted for over two years—an action he claims the citizens do not accept.
