The Palestine national football team has arrived in the Maldives for their match against the Maldives, in the group stage of the AFC Asian Qualifying Games.
The team arrived on Saturday evening, after camping in Qatar, winning a friendly match against Yemen, 1-0.
Palestine, ranked 134 in the FIFA World Ranking, won the AFC Challenge Cup 2014, which was held in the Maldives.
The Maldivian national team, ranked 140, has been training for the match, with a 29-player squad.
Maldives will play against Palestine on Tuesday, March 28th. The match will begin at 9 pm at the Galolhu National Stadium, Maldives and Palestine are in Group D of the qualifiers, along with Oman and Bhutan.
