First Lady Fazna Ahmed attended International Day of the Girl activities held at B.Goidhoo this year.
The first lady attended a "Girl Empowerment" workshop, targeting girls aged sixteen to twenty years old, held on the occasion of International Day of the Girl. The workshop included sessions on "violence and harassment" and "healthy relationships".
These sessions were arranged by UNICEF in conjunction with Advocating the rights of children (ARC) and conducted by the Family Protection Authority (FPA).
Additionally, the first lady attended other activities on Saturday celebrating the International Day of the Girl such as Zumba, skating, surfing, and yoga.
