State owned corporations have come under fire for issues like this. Accusations have been made on Aasandha corporation, rumored to have footed the bill for First Lady’s “Sadaqah Foundation” organized circumcision camp held in December.

The foundation had also was embroiled in a scandal involving dates provided by the Government of Saudi Arabia. Anti-Corruption Commission had investigated the scandal and decreed that there was no corruption in the case. The Commission had also found in favor of the Foundation, over accusations that funds donated to Islamic Ministry’s Waqf Fund had been taken over by the Foundation.

The President’s Office had consistently denied there was any wrong doing and misuse of state owned corporations by the Sadaqah Foundation, in spite of many accusations.
