Two youths have been injured in an assault in Thaa Atoll Thimarafushi on Friday night.
Speaking to RaajjeMV, an island resident said that the assault was the result of a fight between two groups.
The victims are being treated at the island health center.
The resident said that the two groups have been in conflict for two to three years and that they had problems a few nights before as well.
The assault was reported on Friday at 9:11pm and the police arrested four men aged between 20 to 23 years of age.
The police service stated that the victims are in good health and that they are investigating the incident.
