Two minors injured in Hulhumale’ road accident

Two minors have been injured in a road accident in Hulhumale’ on Friday afternoon.

The police service received report of a motorcycle collision at 3pm.

The incident occurred on Nirolhu Magu near Veligaa Hardware store when a motorcycle driving at high speeds attempted to overtake a pizza delivery motorcycle.

A 17-year-old boy was riding the motorcycle with a 14-year-old boy, who had scrapes on their arms due to the incident.

The 17-year-old was placed under four-hour observation at the Hulhumale’ Hospital.

The police are investigating the incident.
