An accident that took place on Sinamalé Bridge early Wednesday morning has caused damage to a large portion of the lane barrier.

Police said that the accident took place at around 4:17am, at the U-turn intersection on the highway.

There were no injuries.

Noting that a speeding pickup had crashed into the plastic lane barrier, police added that over 40 feet of the road divider had been damaged in the accident.

While it has not made any arrests, police said it is investigating the cause of the accident.
