EC approves submitting two forms to confirm re-registration

People are free to submit a new application form to re-register their voting location for September’s presidential election, says the Elections Commission (EC).
At a press conference on Sunday, EC President Ahmed Shareef said that people have the opportunity to confirm their re-registration.
He also invited people to come to the commission’s office if they have any doubts and change their voting location before the deadline.
EC has also called on the political parties and organizations to encourage people to re-register, and so parties and lawmakers have been working to re-register their members and constituents before the deadline on August 11.
