62-Year-Old Man Dies from Injuries Sustained in Hulhumale' Crash

The victim died on September 15, following the accident which also left a 24-year-old motorcyclist with various injuries. The police are continuing their investigation into the incident.

A 62-year-old man has passed away while undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Hulhumale' Phase 2 last August.
According to information shared with the media by the police, the accident occurred at approximately 07:36 AM on August 31 of this year. The collision took place at the intersection of Dunburigas Magu and Heenaamaa Hingun in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
The accident involved a collision between a car and a motorcycle, leaving the motorcyclist, a 62-year-old Maldivian man, with serious injuries.
The individual, who had been receiving medical treatment since the day of the accident, passed away on the night of the 15th of this month. At the time of death, the victim was being treated at Tree Top Hospital.
Police have identified the individual operating the motorcycle at the time of the accident as a 24-year-old Maldivian male. According to the police, he sustained various injuries in the collision.
Police have launched an investigation into the accident.
