According to information provided to the media by the police, the accident occurred near the Vinares 6 flats in Hulhumale' Phase II. Police stated that the incident was reported to them on Wednesday morning at approximately 8:03 a.m.
Police have reported that the accident occurred near the Vinares 6 flats when a motorcycle traveling north on Hithigas Magu struck a pedestrian crossing the road.
According to the police, both the driver and the passenger of the motorcycle sustained various injuries in the accident. However, authorities noted that by the time officers arrived at the scene, the pedestrian involved in the collision had already fled the area.
