Male' City Mayor Adam Azim has criticized the government, stating that it formulates policies on a whim upon waking up and lacks any genuine intention or vision to improve the country's affairs.
Speaking on RaajjeTV’s "Fala Surukhee" program, Mayor Azim criticized the administration, stating that it is a government that formulates policies on a whim the moment they wake up. He questioned what such an administration could truly achieve, further asserting that the government makes decisions without any prior thought or consideration.
Azim stated that when assuming a position of responsibility, one's focus should always be on improving the institution's condition day by day from the moment they take over. However, he noted that this is not the reality being observed under the current administration.
He noted that the condition of state-owned enterprises is deteriorating day by day. The Mayor further stated that this decline is due to a lack of both the intention and the vision to implement necessary reforms and improvements.
When assuming a position of authority, the primary focus should always be on progressively improving the institution's condition from the day one takes charge. However, this is not the reality we are witnessing under the current administration.
