Ali Naseer, who served as legal counsel for Male' City Council during Muizzu's tenure as Mayor, appointed as President's representative to JSC
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Uz. Ali Naseer Gasim to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) to fill the vacancy left by a recent resignation. The new presidential appointee, who previously served as the Legal Counsel for the Male' City Council, took his oath of office before Supreme Court Justice Uz. Ali Rasheed Hussain.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Al-Usthadh Ali Naseer Gasim to the Judicial Service Commission.
He was appointed to the position during a ceremony held at the President's Office on Thursday.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Uz. Ali Naseer Gasim to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) as the member designated by the President. The appointment was made in accordance with Article 158 (h) of the Constitution of the Republic of Maldives and Section 3 (8) of the Judicial Service Commission Act (Act No. 10/2008).
Uz. Ali Naseer has been sworn in as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) during a ceremony held at the President's Office. He officially signed the oath of office following the swearing-in. The oath was administered by Supreme Court Justice Honorable Uz. Ali Rasheed Hussain.
During the ceremony, the President presented the letter of appointment to Al-Usthadh Ali Naseer Gasim, officially appointing him as a member of the Judicial Service Commission.
He was appointed to the position following the resignation of Yazmeed Mohamed, who previously served as the President's representative on the Judicial Service Commission (JSC). Naseer served as the legal counsel for the Male' City Council during President Muizzu's tenure as the Mayor of Male' City.
