President appoints Uz. Hassan Shafeeu as a member of the Judicial Service Commission
High Court Judge Hassan Shafeeu was sworn in as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) today. During a ceremony held at the President's Office, the oath of office was administered by Supreme Court Justice Mohamed Saleem. Judge Shafeeu was appointed to the commission in accordance with the Constitution and the JSC Act, representing the High Court following his election by his fellow judges.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Uz. Hassan Shafeeu, of Sweetmead, K. Dhiffushi, to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) as the member representing the High Court.
Uz. Hassan Shafeeu was sworn in as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) during a ceremony held at the President's Office on Monday. He took his oath of office and signed the declaration of oath before Supreme Court Justice Honorable Uz. Mohamed Saleem. Following the swearing-in, the President officially presented Uz. Hassan Shafeeu with his letter of appointment to the Commission.
The appointment was made in accordance with Article 158 (c) of the Constitution of the Republic of Maldives and Section 3 (3) of the Judicial Service Commission Act (Act No. 10/2008), representing the judges of the High Court as elected by their peers.
