President alleges Adhadhu journalist violated court order, orders removal from press conference in presence of Home Minister
During a press conference at the President's Office, President Dr. Muizzu accused a journalist from the "Adhadhu" news outlet of violating a court order following a question he posed. At the President's direction, security personnel forcibly removed the journalist from the premises; however, it is important to note that determining a violation of a court order falls strictly under the jurisdiction of the judiciary.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has determined that a journalist from Adhadhu, who questioned him during a meeting at the President's Office, has acted in violation of a Criminal Court order.
During Monday's press conference, Adhadhu journalist Mohamed Shahuzan questioned why the President had contacted a female employee late at night and during irregular hours, despite his denial of the allegations made in the "Aisha" documentary. During the briefing, Shahuzan also shared details of call logs obtained by Adhadhu.
Responding to the question, the President stated that the journalist was currently in violation of a court order. He then directed the journalist to leave the press conference. At that point, President's Office security personnel escorted Shahuzaan out of the briefing. Live footage of the incident showed Home Minister Ali Ihusaan standing alongside the security team during the removal.
Despite the President's remarks, it is noted that determining violations of court orders or ruling on contempt of court falls under the jurisdiction of the judiciary, the independent branch of the state responsible for the administration of justice.
