IGMH staff pension contributions deducted but not deposited for three months!
An employee at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has reported that while pension contributions are being deducted from their salary, no funds have been deposited into their pension account since the beginning of the year. Despite raising the issue with the Human Resources department, the matter remains unresolved after three months; although the administration attributed the delay to a technical error, they have failed to provide a timeline for rectification, causing significant concern among staff.

It has come to light that pension contributions deducted from the salaries of employees at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) have not been deposited into their respective accounts.
An employee of the hospital informed RaajjeMV that although pension contributions have been deducted from their salaries, no payments have been deposited into their pension accounts for any month since the beginning of this year.
He stated that the matter was brought to the attention of the Human Resources department as soon as it was noticed; however, no resolution has been reached over the past three months. He further noted that while they were informed the payments are currently stalled due to an administrative issue, no timeline was provided for when the funds would be deposited, describing the situation as a major concern.
Official comment from IGMH regarding this matter was not available.
Concerns are mounting over the failure of Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) to deposit pension contributions deducted from employees' salaries. This issue has recently escalated across various government ministries and state-owned enterprises, including Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) and Road Development Corporation (RDC), which have also reportedly withheld pension funds after deducting them from staff paychecks.

Furthermore, the issue of unpaid overtime has escalated significantly. Several agencies have submitted petitions to the President's Office expressing concern that despite the salary increments introduced by the current administration, the simultaneous removal of various allowances has resulted in a substantial reduction in the take-home pay for lower-level staff performing labor-intensive roles. To date, however, the government has not issued a response to these petitions.
