Final list of eligible voters: 294,876 individuals granted voting rights
EC has finalized the voter registry for the upcoming elections on April 4, confirming that 294,876 individuals are eligible to vote across a total of 588 ballot boxes nationwide. While 240 boxes will be stationed within the Greater Male' area, the Commission announced that no polling stations will be established abroad or on industrial islands due to insufficient registration numbers in those locations. The final list, which details voter constituencies and their respective polling stations, has now been officially published.

The Elections Commission (EC) has released the final voters' list for the Local Council Elections, the Women's Development Committee elections, and the public referendum.
The Elections Commission has published the final list of eligible voters for the upcoming election scheduled for April 4 on its website. According to the list, a total of 294,876 people are eligible to vote. This figure includes 144,506 women and 150,370 men.
The Commission has released the official list of eligible voters, categorized by their respective electoral constituencies. The published information includes specific voter lists for each individual polling station, detailing those entitled to cast their ballots at each location.
The Elections Commission has announced that a total of 588 ballot boxes will be stationed across various regions of the Maldives for the upcoming election.
Accordingly, it has been decided that 322 ballot boxes will be stationed across the atolls. In the Greater Male' area, a total of 240 ballot boxes will be placed, covering Male', Hulhumale', and Villimale'. This includes 180 boxes in Male', 51 boxes in Hulhumale', and 9 boxes in Villimale'.
Of the ballot boxes to be stationed across the Greater Male' Area, 98 are designated specifically for residents of Male'. Additionally, 142 ballot boxes will be set up for residents from other atolls and cities who are currently living in the capital.
The Elections Commission has announced that no polling stations will be established abroad or on industrial islands for the upcoming election, as the number of registered voters in those locations did not meet the required threshold.
