MDP President Abdulla Shahid departs for Gaafu Alifu and Laamu Atolls to campaign for upcoming local council elections
During this visit, activities will include door-to-door campaigning, the inauguration of campaign centers, and high-level discussions with candidates. The MDP continues to intensify its campaign efforts across the islands through a series of strategic regional visits.

The President of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), Abdulla Shahid, has departed for Gaafu Alifu and Laamu Atolls to campaign for the upcoming Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections.
MDP President Abdulla Shahid, along with Member of Parliament Ibrahim Nazil, Maradhoo Constituency MP Ahmed Didi, and several general members of the party, are participating in the campaign for the Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections.
As part of this trip, campaign activities are scheduled to take place across the islands of Gaafu Alif Atoll as well as Laamu Atoll. Following the launch of the campaign for the upcoming Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections on the night of February 12, the MDP has been conducting visits to various islands throughout the atolls.
During this trip, which includes the participation of MDP President Abdulla Shahid, door-to-door campaign activities and the inauguration of campaign centers are scheduled to take place across both atolls.
Furthermore, he will hold meetings with the candidates to engage in high-level discussions.
