TC Sports Club has claimed a victory over Club Green Streets in the ongoing Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League (DDPL).
The match, played on Sunday afternoon at the Galolhu National Stadium, ended in a 2-0 win for TC, with both goals coming in the second half.
The first half was evenly contested, with both sides showing balance in play. TC created several scoring opportunities but failed to convert them, and the opening half concluded without a goal.
TC eventually broke the deadlock in the 60th minute of the second half when Hussain Mohamed Shareef found the net. The advantage was doubled in the 74th minute, as Mohamed Dhaanish Ibrahim scored the second goal for the team.
With this win over Green Streets, TC moves up to seventh place in the league standings, having collected 12 points from 15 matches. Club Green Streets remains in eighth place with eight points from the same number of games. Club Valencia, also on eight points, sits in ninth place, while United Victory (UV) remains at the bottom of the table with seven points.
