The prestigious Golden Globe Awards gift bag for this year proudly features exclusive holiday getaways at three of the Maldives’ most renowned resorts.
Valued at approximately USD one million, or around MVR 15.4 million, The Ultimate Gift Bag was presented to award winners and the prominent celebrity presenters who took to the stage.
Celebrated for its sheer opulence, the gift bag offers luxury travel experiences to some of the world’s most elite destinations, with the Maldives emerging as a standout highlight among them.
This year’s gift bag includes lavish packages from three Maldivian resorts. Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa is offering a three-night stay at The Residence, an expansive six-bedroom villa. Valued at approximately USD 80,000, or MVR 1.2 million, this package was awarded to five recipients. Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is providing an extraordinary experience that includes two nights at The Muraka, the world’s first undersea residence, followed by two nights at the Rangali Ocean Pavilion. Valued at USD 70,000, or MVR one million, this package was granted to five recipients. Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi is offering a three-night stay in a Grand Overwater Villa, valued at USD 26,000, or MVR 400,000, which was awarded to six recipients.
The recipients of these extravagant gifts include some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. This high-profile exposure is expected to significantly elevate the Maldives’ profile and further enhance its appeal among top-tier global celebrities.
Alongside the Maldivian getaways, the Golden Globes gift bag also features luxury trips to destinations such as New Zealand, Thailand, and Indonesia, in addition to high-end jewelry.
