The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has appointed Sabeeha Ahmed, the current Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Visit Maldives, to the corporation’s executive board.
Sabeeha brings years of experience in tourism marketing and resort operations, having previously worked with several major international brands, including Jumeirah Group, Fairmont Maldives and Crown and Champa Resorts. Before joining Visit Maldives, she served as Senior Sales Manager at Hilton Hotels and Resorts.
Her appointment comes at a time when the Maldives is positioning itself to strengthen its global tourism presence amid increasing competition from regional destinations.
