Two individuals have been treated for injuries attained in an accident in Thinadhoo City, Gaaf Dhaal atoll.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the accident occurred after a pickup truck traveling south of Thinadhoo, crashed into a motorcycle.
The accident was reported to authorities at around 3:40pm on Sunday.
MPS has revealed that the pickup driver as well as the person who was riding on the motorcycle when the collision occurred, attained injuries in the accident and that they were undergoing treatment at Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital.
Further investigations in connection with the accident are currently underway.
