President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has attended the closing ceremony of the Maldives Open 2023, 10-Ball Championship.

The closing ceremony of the Maldives Open 2023, 10-Ball Championship was held at the National Billiard Centre on Wednesday.

At the closing ceremony, the President watched the championship's final match and gave away prizes to the champion and runner-up respectively.

The Maldives Open 2023, 10-Ball Championship is the first International Billiard Tournament held in the Maldives.

The tournament saw the participation of 64 players from 15 nations.

The tournament was held at the Maldives Pool Billiard Association (MPBA) house from April 24-26, 2023.

The Administration pledged to host international sports tournaments in the Maldives and help develop local athletes' skills in order to compete on the international stage.

The Maldives Open 2023, 10-Ball Championship is the year's second such international sporting event.
