Four companies have been chosen to carry Hajj pilgrims this year.

Islamic Ministry made the announcement via Twitter on Monday, adding that a total of 15 agencies had applied.

While the ministry announced that four companies have been authorized to carry pilgrims this year, it did not reveal the names of the companies.

However, it stressed that the four were chosen after careful evaluation; the selected ones are to have received the highest points in the evaluation process.

Six companies carried Hajj pilgrims last year; Maldives Hajj Corporation Limited, Zaee Group Private Limited, Thazkiya Private Limited, Al-Haramain Hajj and Umrah Company Private Limited, Mina Hajj and Umrah Private Limited and Acro Private Limited.
