Vehicles banned in Hulhumalé on Eid al-Adha
Vehicles are banned from 4:30pm to 6:30pm on Sunday

Hulhumalé
Vehicles will be prohibited in the capital city’s suburban district Hulhumalé on Eid al-Adha (Sunday).
Transport Authority announced this via Twitter on Saturday, highlighting that motor vehicles are banned from 4:30pm to 6:30pm on Sunday.
Those that violate the order will be penalized, under the “land vehicle law.”
The Transport Authority noted that MNDF vehicles, ambulances and other such public service vehicles are exempted from this.
Malé City Council has also banned vehicles in the capital city Malé and Villimalé on Eid day.
Motor vehicles were also banned during Eid al-Fitr, in June. 97 individuals were penalized for violating the order.
