Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has begun investigating Kaafu Atoll’s Chief Magistrate Mohamed Raaib Ahmed.
JSC confirmed that they received a disciplinary complaint against Magistrate Raaib on June 20.
RaajjeMV understands that the complaint is regarding the sexual harassment of a female employee. The investigation is being conducted in K. Thulusdhoo by a five-member committee.
JSC has also decided to investigate five complaints regarding GA Maamendhoo Magistrate Ahmed Shukoor as well
The parliament recently dismissed GDh Thinadhoo Magistrate Ibrahim Rasheed on the request of the JSC based on their investigation of a disciplinary complaint.
