Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Mus’ab Abdulla has been suspended from official duties.
Deputy minister Shafiu Ali told RaajjeMV that the Civil Service Commission (CSC) had suspended him with pay for one month.
The Commission had informed the ministry of his suspension via a letter sent on Wednesday morning.
CSC’s secretary general said that Mus’ab was suspended over a complaint filed, but declined to comment further citing “ongoing investigation.”
Mus’ab was appointed by the previous administration, in July 2017.
RaajjeMV understands that the CSC is investigating a case related to the ministry’s procedures in selecting companies to carry Hajj pilgrims.
