Saeed was suspended in January over a CSC investigation

Education Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Mohamed Saeed has been dismissed.

Saeed was suspended for one month on January 24 over a Civil Service Commission (CSC) investigation and his suspension was extended in February.

RaajjeMV understands that he was suspended over a complaint filed against him by Education Minister Dr. Aishath Ali.

CSC Secretary General Ibrahim Zuhuree told RaajjeMV that Saeed was notified of his dismissal on Wednesday after CSC completed its investigation of the complaint filed against him, and added that the CSC does not disclose details of any of their cases.

The previous administration appointed Saeed to the position of Permanent Secretary of the Education Ministry in late 2017.
