Heavy rain has caused flooding in Dh. Kudahuvadhoo on Friday.

Speaking to RaajjeMV, the media officer of the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) stated that pumps have been used to remove the water from the streets.

Four households have been affected by the flood, he said, adding that those houses have now been barricaded by sandbags.

A white alert was issued on Friday for the region between Kaafu and Laamu atoll.
