Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has launched a search for a 29-year-old male missing from Fenfushi island of Alifu Dhaalu atoll.
MNDF’s media officer, Captain Ibrahim Azim said that MNDF’s Coastguard Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre received the missing persons report at around 5:15 pm on Sunday.
He added that officers of the Maldives Police Service (MPS) are active in the search as well.
According to MNDF, he was last heard from on June 30, at around 11:30 pm and that he was wearing a long-sleeved light blue shirt and jeans at the time.
