Madaveli residents face power cuts this Ramadan as well

Gaafu Dhaalu Madaveli island council has expressed concern over the continued power outages across the island.
Speaking to RaajjeMV, Madaveli council president Ahmed Hameez said that the issue has been ongoing for a while now, and that power outages have increased in the past few days.
He said that the power was out from 1:15am to 5:30am on Friday and that, although they have filed numerous complaints at Fenaka Corporation, they are yet to receive a permanent solution to the issue.
He further noted that the reason for the continued power outages has not been disclosed yet.
RaajjeMV was unable to obtain a comment from Fenaka at the time of publishing.
Madaveli island's over 1,900 residents had faced the same issue last Ramadan as well.
