A 24-year-old woman has been injured in an accident that occurred in Fuvahmulah city on Tuesday night.
The police say that the accident occurred due to the motorcycles, which were both travelling at high speeds, losing control.
The woman is currently being treated at the regional hospital in the city, although the full extent of her injuries is yet unclear.
The official said that they received reports of the accident at 20:45 on Tuesday and that the police are investigating the incident.
