Two board members of MACL abruptly removed from their positions

The Privatization and Corporatization Board has announced the removal of two members from the Board of Directors of Maldives Airports Company Limited.
The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has announced the removal of Executive Director Mohamed Mihad and Board Member Sahar Waheed from the Board of Directors of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL).
Sahar Waheed was appointed to the board of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) on December 24, 2023. Mohamed Mihadh was appointed to the MACL board on April 26, 2024.
The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has announced that the two members were removed from the board effective from the first of October.
The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has not disclosed the reasons behind the removal of these two members from the board.
