The Maldives Meteorological Service (MMS) has urged the public to exercise caution as adverse weather conditions are forecasted to prevail across a large part of the country.
The Maldives Meteorological Service has forecasted heavy rain and thunderstorms across the region from Haa Alif Atoll to Dhaalu Atoll between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM this Thursday.
The weather office further predicted that average wind speeds will range between 19 to 24 mph, with gusts reaching up to 40 mph during showers. Consequently, sea conditions are expected to be very rough.
