Maldives welcomes Malaysian Prime Minister with a formal state reception

President Muizzu officially welcomed Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim during a special ceremony held at Republic Square, which featured a 21-gun salute in the Prime Minister's honor and a cultural performance by students from Dharumavantha School. The ceremony also included the formal introduction of senior officials and delegation members from both nations.

The Maldives has extended an official ceremonial welcome to the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu officially welcomed Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim during a ceremony held at Republic Square on Tuesday.

Furthermore, students from Dharumavantha School performed a traditional cultural presentation to welcome him. This was followed by a 21-gun salute honored by the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF).

During the ceremony, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim inspected a Guard of Honour mounted in his distinction. Following the inspection, the Prime Minister was formally introduced to Maldivian state dignitaries, while members of the Malaysian delegation were also introduced to the local officials.
