According to the Maldives Police Service, the individual sought in connection with this case has been identified as 25-year-old Maryam Maee Jameel. Originally from Gulzaaruge in Laamu Mundoo, she is currently residing in Malé.
Police have launched a search for Maryam Maee Jameel after her family reported her missing in the early hours of Sunday, September 1. Following the report, authorities released her photograph and personal details to the media, seeking public assistance in locating her.
Police stated that while the search for Maee was underway, she contacted the Henveiru Police Station earlier on Saturday and subsequently presented herself at the station. Authorities further confirmed that she was in good health upon her arrival.
