Even the fiercest critics who accuse him of chronic fabrication must concede that this claim mirrors an undeniable reality across the government.

Not a single state apparatus dares to take action unless it aligns with direct presidential orders.

One only needs to observe the endless stream of official rhetoric to see the proof. Whether handling a massive initiative or a trivial task, agency chiefs constantly credit his direct supervision, his personal counsel, his brilliant foresight, his profound strategic vision, and his sheer expertise.

The praise is an unending loop centered entirely on him.

To ensure absolute adherence to his wishes, ministers, political appointees, and lower-level bureaucrats bend over backward.

Nobody lifts a finger unless explicitly ordered. Even a basic social media post from a public agency requires pre-approval, word-for-word dictation, and a green light at a strictly designated time.

An elite public relations machine producing pure absurdity

In their relentless race to maintain strict uniformity, the regime's efforts have repeatedly collapsed into pure embarrassment.

Back in the early months of the administration, a widely circulated post blew up online after the administration published imagery of the national flag featuring a crescent moon turned completely backward, shared directly by the president himself.

The blunders only intensified with a subsequent post marking World Oceans Day. For the leader of an archipelago made up of ninety-nine percent water and a mere one percent land, a president who eats local seafood and relies on Maldivian heritage, the shared visual was nothing short of humiliating. It showcased a mythical five-finned turtle alien to both Maldivian waters and any known ocean on the planet, accompanied by yellowfin tuna sporting two tails.

The public backlash against these surreal creations was intense and well-deserved.

President Muizzu employs an enormous public relations operation exceeding fifty staffers in the President’s Office alone, packed with veteran media hands and overseen by a prominent Minister of Strategic Communications.

When an operation that large unleashes such amateurish mistakes, even the most indifferent citizens cannot help but mock them.

Copying the master down to the broken physics

The obsession with mirroring the president’s style down to the finest detail continues to spread. A prime example came from the tourism ministry on National Day.

Tasked with sending out holiday greetings, the ministry posted an image of a traditional Maldivian boat rigged completely backward.

The graphic depicted wind filling the sail in a way that should push the vessel in reverse, yet the craft inexplicably produced a white foamy wake moving forward.

The ministry managed to duplicate the president’s signature flair with immaculate precision. They delivered a magnificent blunder crafted in the exact same mold, proving they follow their master's directions to the letter.

However, beyond the viral ridicule, this backward boat exposed the fundamental rot within the administration.

It laid bare the vast chasm between official rhetoric and actual execution, showing how far government promises stray from reality. It mirrors the administration's financial policies, where aggressive regulations meant to slash the value of the US dollar have only caused its price to skyrocket.

They keep pretending they can charge ahead while the wind blows the wrong way against their sails, forgetting that physical reality dictates a vessel will only travel where the wind actually pushes it. In the end, it remains thoroughly, entirely on brand for Muizzu.
