The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has called for bids to do the constructing work for its jetty in Hulhumalé, which will especially be used by tourists.

The pre-bid meeting is to be held on 8th October, and the deadline for expressions of interest is set at 22nd October.

The corporation is looking for a proposal to design, lay the foundation, and construct said jetty. The HDC had previously stated that the jetty will lead to a sheltered walkway. Said walkway has already been constructed.

Interested parties will need to submit a bid security of MVR 100,000 to participate in the bidding process.
