A vessel used for patrol by the Coast Guard

Coast Guard is searching for a tourist that went missing after he went diving off of a cruise boat near Fuvahmulah.

The 45-year-old’s disappearance was reported to the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) at 18:00 on Sunday, said Captain Ibrahim Azim.

Officers in the Coast Guard’s southern bases have been searching for him since.
