Ahmed Mamdhooh Appointed Vice President of the Employment Tribunal
3 އޯގަސްޓު 2026 | ހޯމަ 10:47In a ceremony held at the President's Office, Ahmed Mamdhooh was sworn in as a member of the Employment Tribunal before Supreme Court Justice Aisha Shujoon Mohamed. Mamdhooh, who holds a higher degree in Business Administration, has previously served in several senior government positions.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Ahmed Mamdhooh, of Ma. Eralsy, as the Vice President of the Employment Tribunal.
Ahmed Mamdhooh was sworn in as the Vice President of the Employment Tribunal on Monday morning during a special ceremony held at the President's Office. The oath of office was administered by Supreme Court Justice, Honorable Uza. Aisha Shujune Muhammad.
Ahmed Mamdooh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. According to the President's Office, his previous professional experience includes serving as the Deputy Minister of Economic Development, as well as the Deputy Managing Director and Acting Managing Director of the Maldives Road Development Corporation (MRDC). Most recently, he served as a consultant for various projects undertaken by the Male' City Council.
