During a telephone conversation, the two ministers discussed further strengthening bilateral relations between their countries. Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with the Maldivian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Iruthisham Adam, on Saturday.
During the call, the two ministers exchanged views on significant regional and international developments of mutual interest.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has extended his congratulations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Iruthisham Adam, on the occasion of the 61st Independence Day of the Maldives.
Foreign Minister Dr. Iruthisham Adam has commended Pakistan's ongoing efforts to serve as a mediator in resolving the tensions between Iran and the United States.
During the discussions, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the long-standing ties of friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and the Maldives.
